FAQs

How will I select the pickups I want? After checking out, FILL OUT THE FORM BELOW and submit it. You will need to know:  (1) which model neck and bridge pickup you want; (2) covered or uncovered; and (3) which guitar it is going into and whether that guitar has a Floyd Rose or not.  After making your selection, we will order the pickups for you. They usually take about 7-10 days to get to us, then install.

Do I get to keep the pickups that were in the guitar originally? No.

What if I don't like the pickups? That's the way the cookie crumbles.  We order these special for you, so there are, and listen carefully now, NO RETURNS.

Can I get ________ brand pickups instead of Seymours? No.

Does this apply to Pre-Order new models? No.

Can I get this option on layaways? No.

Can I change the pickup configuration? No. If your guitar comes with 2 humbuckers, you can put in 2 humbuckers. So, for example, you cannot change the routing to go from H/H to H/S/S. This is just a pickup swap. And we will not leave exposed or partially exposed cavities.

Can I put actives in a guitar with passive pickups or vice versa? No/yes. You cannot go from passives (original) to actives (new) in this promo. You can go from actives to passives, and passive to passive. Just not passive to active.

How long will I have to wait for shipping? Guitars ordered through this promo will ship 10-14 days from the date you place your order. Please keep in mind, as noted above, we special order these for you and it takes Seymour 7-10 days to get them to us. Then we have to install them, and then it heads out the door to you.
