Refund policy

 

Please note: If a product listing includes a specific warranty or exchange policy, that policy will take precedence over the terms below in the event of a conflict. If no such policy is listed, the following Diamond Return Policy applies.


Guitars & Amplifiers

Guitars and amplifiers are not eligible for return or refund. If your item is found to be defective according to Diamond’s manufacturer specifications, it will be replaced with the same or a like model. If a direct replacement is unavailable, Diamond may, at its discretion, replace the item with a product of equal or greater value.

All Diamond instruments and amplifiers include a full manufacturer warranty unless otherwise specified in the product listing. Returns or exchanges due to personal preference (tone, feel, appearance, etc.) will not be accepted.

All Other Products

Diamond offers a 30-day return and exchange policy for eligible merchandise. You may return your item within 30 days of receipt, provided it is in new, unused condition with all original packaging, tags, and documentation. Refunds are issued to the original payment method after inspection and approval.

Postage & Handling

  • Shipping costs are refunded only for returns resulting from defective merchandise or a Diamond shipping error.
  • Shipping costs are not refunded for returns due to personal preference, incorrect sizing, or other non-defective reasons.
  • If an item being returned for exchange is no longer available, Diamond may offer an item of equal value at its discretion.

Limitations

  • Returns are accepted only for orders placed directly through www.diamondguitars.com.
  • Diamond does not accept returns or exchanges for purchases made through retail stores, third-party sellers, or international orders.
  • Shipping charges are covered by Diamond only in the event of a confirmed product defect or shipping error.

Lifestyle & Apparel Items

Lifestyle merchandise, apparel, and accessories may be exchanged only if:

  • Original tags and packaging are intact,
  • The item has not been washed, worn, or altered, and
  • Proof of purchase is provided.

If a style is discontinued or unavailable, Diamond may substitute a product of equal value. Please follow all washing and care instructions carefully; Diamond does not accept returns or exchanges for damage caused by improper care.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Clearance, final sale, B-stock, or open-box items (as labeled)
  • Custom-built or special-order products
  • Gift cards or digital products
  • Products showing signs of wear, use, modification, or damage after delivery

Condition & Inspection

  • All returns are subject to inspection. Items must be received in new, resaleable condition with all original materials.
  • Diamond reserves the right to refuse any return that does not meet these conditions or was returned without prior authorization.
  • Return shipments remain the customer’s responsibility until received by Diamond; please use an insured, trackable service.
  • RA numbers are valid for 14 days from issuance; returns received after this window may be refused.

Return & Exchange Process

  1. Contact Diamond Customer Service at 765-213-6088 or sales@diamondguitars.com to obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number.
  2. Clearly write the RA number on the outside of your return package.
  3. Ship your item using FedEx or another insured, trackable carrier.
